Privacy This tool only accesses volume levels from the microphone. It does not record audio content and does not upload any data to servers.

Limitations Mobile microphones are often inaccurate at very low (<30dB) or high (>90dB) levels and use automatic gain control. Results are for reference only.

Noise level reference:
Below 30 dB - Very quiet (recording studio)
30–50 dB - Quiet (library)
50–70 dB - Normal (office)
70–90 dB - Loud (street)
Above 90 dB - Very loud (factory)
